What actually changed
The Classic is still Snapdragon G1 Gen 2, 3.92-inch 1240x1080 AMOLED, 5,000mAh, 27W, Android 14. Remaining variants on the store are 6GB/128GB only. At $99 it undercuts the Mangmi Air Y on OLED and undercuts every other Retroid vertical.
The Pocket 5 listing now shows 12GB LPDDR4x, Snapdragon 865, Adreno 650, 5.5-inch 1080p 60Hz AMOLED, 5,000mAh. $179 is $30 off the $209 compare-at price. It is not a Pocket 6: that stays Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on a 120Hz panel at $244 (GoRetroid Pocket 6).
The Flip 2 is a single-screen clamshell with the same 865/Adreno 650 story as RP5 on the $189 SKU. It is not Pocket 6's 8 Gen 2. Buy it to protect a 5.5-inch AMOLED in a flip shell; buy Duo Lite Plus if you want two screens and Q-7790 for $199.
Who should buy which
Classic at $99 if your library is GBA/PS1/Saturn-on-six-buttons and you want OLED in a Game Boy shell. Skip it if you need analog sticks.
Pocket 5 at $179 if you want a 5.5-inch AMOLED slab with Snapdragon 865 and 12GB, and you do not need 120Hz or 8 Gen 2. Compare with RP5 vs RP6.
Flip 2 at $149–$189 if a clamshell single screen is the form factor you actually carry. The D1100 SKU is the cheaper GameCube-class option; SD865 is the PS2-class remaining stock.
None of these replace the Pocket Nova for 4:3 Android or the Duo family for dual-screen.
