GoGameGeek put a Miyoo Mini Plus V2 on the cart as a $69.99 presale: same 3.5-inch 640x480 IPS Mini Plus shell, four colors, and a title that says Rockchip RK3562. Retro Handhelds reported it in stock on October 15. Miyoo's own store still has no V2 page, and the retailer body still pastes Cortex-A7 1.2GHz and 128MB DDR3 from the original Mini Plus (GoGameGeek listing, Retro Handhelds).
Need a device that already has firmware? Buy the Miyoo Mini Plus for OnionOS, the Anbernic RG 35 at $38, or a TrimUI Brick. Rank the stack in the picker. Budget list: best budget handhelds 2026.
What the listing actually says (October 19, 2026)
| Spec | Mini Plus V2 (retailer) | What to trust |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $69.99 (code RH15 ~$59.49 per RH) | Store price is real |
| Chip | Title: RK3562 / Mali-G52 2EE. Body: Cortex-A7 1.2GHz | Title + RH; body is leftover copy |
| RAM | 128MB DDR3 | Unverified; RK3562 handhelds usually ship with more |
| Screen | 3.5" IPS 640x480 | Same as Mini Plus |
| Battery / weight | 3,000mAh, 200g, 108 x 78.5 x 22 mm | Listing + RH |
| OS | Linux | OnionOS for RK3562 is not confirmed |
| Colors | Transparent Purple, Transparent Black, White, Grey | In the Shopify variants |
| Status | Presale, variants available | Not on lomiyoo.com |
Do not treat 128MB as a reviewed fact. Retro Handhelds already warned that 128MB would choke N64, Dreamcast, PSP, and PortMaster even if the SoC is real.
Should you preorder?
Preorder only if you want Mini Plus pocket size and will accept whatever firmware ships, knowing OnionOS may not follow. Skip it if OnionOS, a reviewed RAM figure, or Miyoo's own cart is the requirement — that is still the original Mini Plus. For Android in a Game Boy vertical this month, KONKR Pocket Block is $79–$99 and AYANEO said first units ship October 19–23.
Miyoo Flip V3 is still vapor. Do not wait on it.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the Miyoo Mini Plus V2?
$69.99 on GoGameGeek as of October 19, 2026. Retro Handhelds said code RH15 cuts that to about $59.49. Shipping is extra.
Does Mini Plus V2 run OnionOS?
Not confirmed. The original Mini Plus is the OnionOS device. RK3562 is a different SoC; do not assume a drop-in CFW build exists at launch.
Can the Mini Plus V2 play N64 and Dreamcast?
Maybe some titles if RK3562 is real and RAM is more than the leftover 128MB figure. Retro Handhelds tempered expectations specifically because of that RAM listing. There are no independent tests.
Should I buy Mini Plus or Mini Plus V2?
Buy Mini Plus for OnionOS and a known SSD202D device. Buy V2 only if you want the RK3562 experiment at $70 and can live without Miyoo's own storefront.
Is Mini Plus V2 better than the KONKR Pocket Block?
Different jobs. V2 is a $70 Linux vertical with an unverified RAM spec. Block is a $79–$99 Android Game Boy with Helio G85 that AYANEO is starting to ship this week. Buy Block for Play Store; buy Mini Plus (not V2) for OnionOS.
