The AYN Odin 3 Base is $369 as of September 1, 2026, up from $349. Pro is $469 (was $449) and Max is $529 (was $499). AYN blamed Qualcomm chipset plus DRAM/UFS costs and said it absorbed part of the increase (Android Authority, Notebookcheck). The official store lists Batch 8 Base at $369 (AYN).
This is the third 2026 Odin 3 hike. Launch was $329/$399/$449. March moved Base/Pro/Max to $339/$439/$489, June added $10, then this $20–$30 step. Ultra (24GB/1TB) was not included in the September notice and has been out of stock for months.

New prices
| SKU | Before Sept 1 | Now | vs launch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base 8GB/128GB | $349 | $369 | +$40 |
| Pro 12GB/256GB | $449 | $469 | +$70 |
| Max 16GB/512GB | $499 | $529 | +$80 |
Hardware is unchanged: Dragonwing Q8 (Snapdragon 8 Elite class), 6-inch 120Hz AMOLED, 8,000mAh, Hall sticks, Android 15. Current listings specify UFS 3.1, not the UFS 4.0 some earlier batches advertised.
Does $369 change the buy?
Only if you were stretching for "cheapest flagship Android." The Odin 3 is still the performance ceiling we track for Android emulation. The value case versus Retroid Pocket 6 and Pocket Nova ($239 after its own August hike) is narrower: buy Odin 3 for the 6-inch 120Hz OLED and Q8 headroom, not because it is a bargain.
Do not wait for a reversal. Memory and Qualcomm pricing are still moving up across this category (Nova already ate a $10 bump; Thor took July hits).
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the AYN Odin 3 now?
Base 8GB/128GB is $369, Pro 12GB/256GB is $469, and Max 16GB/512GB is $529 as of September 1, 2026 on AYN's store.
Why did AYN raise the Odin 3 price again?
AYN cited Qualcomm processor increases plus rising DRAM and UFS costs, the same squeeze behind other 2026 handheld hikes. It said the September step is smaller than the full component move because it is eating part of the cost.
Is the Odin 3 still worth $369?
Yes if you want the strongest Android handheld we catalog and a 6-inch 120Hz AMOLED. If $369 is the stretch, the Pocket Nova at $239 or a street-priced Odin 2 is the nearer value play.
Did the Ultra 24GB model go up too?
The September Discord notice covered Base, Pro, and Max only. Ultra has been out of stock for months and was not repriced in that announcement.
Odin 3 or Retroid Pocket 6 after the hike?
Buy Odin 3 for Q8-class performance and the 6-inch OLED. Buy Pocket 6 if you want a cheaper 16:9 Retroid with mature QCS8550 software and do not need the Elite-class chip.
