AYANEO shipped AYASpace 2 Pocket Museum as a free Android app. Version 0.3.3 is dated October 27, 2026. Separate ~218MB installers exist for KONKR Pocket Block, KONKR Pocket Advance, and AYANEO Pocket MICRO 2. AYANEO showed it in an October 30 Sharing Session (official page, Retro Handhelds).
This is a GBA launcher with a built-in emulator, not a new handheld. Games are not included. Rank those three devices in the picker or compare.
What the official page actually ships
| Feature | Official Pocket Museum page |
|---|---|
| Version | 0.3.3, 2026-10-27 |
| Handhelds | Pocket Advance, Pocket Block, Pocket MICRO 2 (one installer each) |
| Size | 218,325,893 bytes per build |
| Games | Bring your own; .gba / .zip / .7z |

| Play | Built-in emulator, save states, 2x–4x fast-forward, rewind, Run Ahead, cheats |
| Library | 3D boxes and carts from an optional media pack; generic boxes without it |

The original AYASpace app stays installed. Pocket Museum is a separate download that updates itself after the first install. Retro Handhelds lists extra toys (screen effects, key mapping, turbo, per-game settings) that the official page also names.
What it is not
It is GBA-first. The official identify blurb is a GBA fingerprint database. Do not treat this as a replacement for RetroArch, Azahar, or AetherSX2 on those three handhelds. Other AYANEO Android machines have no installer yet.
Block is still $79 / $99 early bird on Shopify with all four SKUs available. Advance is the GBA-shaped G90T brick. MICRO 2 is the 3.5-inch Snapdragon 865 mini; only 12GB White/Black at $309 was in stock November 2, with remaining shipments still in the early-November window AYANEO emailed in mid-October.
Should you install it?
Install it if you already own Block, Advance, or MICRO 2 and you want a one-app GBA shelf with rewind and LAN save sync. Skip it if you need DS/3DS/PSP/PS2 in the same frontend — that is still a separate emulator stack. Do not buy a handheld just for Pocket Museum; buy Block because it is a $79 Game Boy Android, not because of a 0.3.3 test-channel launcher.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which handhelds run AYASpace 2 Pocket Museum?
KONKR Pocket Advance, KONKR Pocket Block, and AYANEO Pocket MICRO 2. Each has its own installer on ayaneo.com/pocket-museum/en.
Does AYASpace 2 play systems other than GBA?
The official identify feature is a GBA fingerprint database, and the page lists .gba / .zip / .7z. AYANEO has not posted other-system installers.
How much does AYASpace 2 cost?
Free. The three APKs are posted on AYANEO's site. Games are not included. An optional media pack for 3D box art is separate.
Is this the same AYASpace 2 as AYANEO's Windows software?
No. AYANEO reused the name. Pocket Museum is the Android GBA launcher. The older Windows AYASpace 2 page is a different product.
Should I buy Pocket Block just for this launcher?
No. Buy Pocket Block if you want a $79–$99 Game Boy Android. Pocket Museum is a free extra on hardware you already planned to use for GBA.
